Walkera V100D03BL flight testing and 2801 pro radio settings
Got my V100D03BL, and I must say this thing is pretty sweet. I've got about 15-20 flights on it so far and the only issue I had was the main motor wouldn't stay plugged in, so I took the plug off the esc and plugged the pins into the motor individually(shrink wrap them first). Works great now. I think they got the 3-axis gyro right on this one. It is very very stable and flies forward flight very well. The tail holds pretty good, it kicks a little bit in pitch pumps but not to bad. I flipped it outside on the first battery and the first flip went great, but the second front flip I did it couldn't get around in time so I killed the motor, no harm to the chopper other than the battery tray but a little dab of adhesive and good as new. I turned the servo ext. up to try and tighten the flips up and it worked great. It will flip much tighter now.
Overall, I love this little heli so far. I will be shooting some videos of it hopefully tonight to show what this thing is capable of in stock form.
I'm adding my radio settings for the 2801 pro for the V100D03BL.
CHNL Reversing are all in the NORM pos.
My gyro gain for the tail is at about 70% and may very from one heli to another.

The gyro pots on the RX are set too just less than 50% and the servo EXT. is turned up to about 75%. These settings are a pretty good starting point. I fly with no expo but you may want too add some if you feel needed. This thing flies great for me with these settings.
